Robertstown Race and introducing "The Waterways Ireland, Barrow Descent"

Saturday October 29th will be the date for the inaugural Barrow Descent. This is a 23KM course from Goresbridge, Co. Kilkenny - St. Mullins, Co. Carlow, featuring 12 weirs and several rapids. A race notice will be published shortly, but it is hoped that there will be free camping with showers available in Thomastown (15mins from start) for Fri/Sat and a Halloween Fancy Dress Party to follow after the race on Saturday. This is an event not to be missed, so chalk it down in your calendars. Further details coming soon.
