10,000m K1 Race

There will be a K1 10,000m race held on Leixlip Lake this Sunday (27th) morning at 11:00am. The race is for the William Watkins trophy, but there are plenty of other prizes up for grabs. We ran a similar race for the Casey Trophy (K2 version) a fortnight ago and, despite a small entry, had a great event with plenty of close racing.

Hopefully, as the season draws to a close, canoeists will take every remaining opportunity to race before the long cold winter!
