Marathon Equipment

Just a brief up date. The marathon committee have placed an order for 8 of the most stable K1s that can be sourced. They form an overall strategy to have a full fleet of introductory K1s to help people get into marathon racing. it is hoped ultimately to have 30 full sets of equipment. 10 sets for loaning to developing clubs (most likely regianal clubs) 10 sets for use by the marathon committee and 10 sets based at the liffey centre with a view to running introductory and begineers courses. Some people have suggested perhaps we shoudl consider getting a fleet of golas too as they are a good transistion into racing boats (K1) - if you have any views on this please let us know.
