No flood

Hello,

Despite our best efforts and the helpful intervention of Mick Scanlon of the ICU, the ESB is unable to provide us with a sufficient release of water to hold the race at the planned venue. Consequently the race will go ahead at Salmon Leap Canoe Club. The long course will be 4 laps of the lake (16kms) and the short course will be 2 laps. Many thanks to those who offered to help with rescue.

You don't mention in your post which race has no flood? Is it tomorrow's Upper Liffey?

Yes, Tomorrow's race is changed to laps of Leixlip lake. Fun Race starts at 11.00 and main events at 12.
