New Website

Hello All,

As you know, for the past while I have been unable to keep this site updated due to other commitments. Unfortunately this has meant that the site is no longer as useful as it was and it is no longer the central place for all information on marathon racing in Ireland.

Today I am launching a new version of this website which gives much more control to the users. All the old useful features are still here - Discussion Board, Buy and Sell, Race Calendar and Results. However now they are all integrated together and posting a race notice or results is as easy as posting a message - which is easier than before.

I will be bringing over information like the results from previous years, rules and committee information in the next few days also.

The idea is that the site will now be maintained by the community and the committee members. I will still take care of the technical side of things and continue to make improvements when I have the time.

Please note that in order to post messages on this site you will have to register here - your registration on the old message board will not apply here. But don't worry - it only takes a few seconds. I will be disabling the old message board in the coming days so please use the discussion board here instead.

When you register you will be able to post on the Discussion Board and Buy and Sell pages. Any committee members or other volunteers may email me (webmaster@irishmarathoncanoeing.com) to get additional privileges to be able to post on the front page, edit the calendar and post results.
